    The Quality Manager will be directly overseeing quality and compliance to engineering and production programs within KMC Contract Manufacturing. As a member of Quality Management, this role will ensure that products are built and shipped in accordance to Customer requirements, as well as ensuring conformance to established company and regulatory standards.


    • Maintains and improves product quality by driving quality improvements; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing methods.
    • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
    • Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
    • Translate contract requirements into quality plans/procedures to assure product is in compliance to customer requirements and communicate to other departments.
    • Participate in labor estimates on proposals or in‑house design efforts.
    • Directly interfaces with both internal and external customers to resolve questions or problems concerning matters of quality assurance and supports internal and external audits.
    • Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change.
    • Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, NCMRs. corrective actions, and re-validations.
    • Actively participates in production meetings with manufacturing team and ensure quality within the manufacturing process.
    • Accomplishes quality assurance human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.


    • Bachelor's degree in a technical, healthcare/life science or similar discipline
    • 10+ years of related industry experience


    • Excellent problem solving skills, communication and presentation skills.
    • Management experience in manufacturing quality environment
    • Experience in Medical Device Quality
