    Toppan Photomasks Inc. has an exciting opportunity available for a Sr. HR Generalist located at our Round Rock, TX production facility! As Sr. HR Generalist, you will be responsible for helping solve complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions. You'll partner with the US HR Manager and US operations leadership to create the end-to-end people strategy that will support TPI's US strategy and vision. This will require you to think big, use data to guide your work, be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases, reinvent how work is done. As a core part of your hands-on work throughout the organization, you will be rolling out initiatives to support TPI employees, including compensation, performance, and talent programs.

    US Human Resources Senior Generalist

    Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

    • Trusted advisor and business partner to leaders and an expert on people and organization issues
    • Develop and implement human resource plans, programs, and processes that improve human business performance.
    • Assist in the planning, development, implementation, and administration of the human resource function, including recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, organizational development, human resource planning, HRIS, legal and regulatory compliance, ethics, and training & development.
    • Assist in establishing human capital metrics to assess the performance and effectiveness of human resource programs in meeting employee and business needs.
    • Continuously seek ways to upgrade the human and organizational capability
    • Advise company leadership in personnel policy and program matters, making or recommending appropriate decisions consistent with the strategic direction of the business.

    Reporting Relationships:

    • Direct report to the US Human Resources Manager
    • Member of site, regional, and global HR teams

    Experience and Skills Needed:

    • Experience working in an HR function in a manufacturing environment
    • 3 years' experience in a HR function
    • Basic knowledge and experience in some of the following:

    o Management coaching

    o Compensation and benefits

    o Training and development

    o Staffing

    o Employee relations

    o Organization development and employee engagement

    o Human resource planning and human capital metrics

    o Ethics compliance

    o Legal and regulatory compliance

    o HRIS and social networking applications

    o Total quality applications to HR including root cause / countermeasure analysis

    Base Role Expectations

    • Work a split shift for both day and evening coverage; i.e. 1:00 to 10:00 Monday - Friday
    • Execute the region's recruiting and staffing processes to attract and retain exceptional talent.
    • Help ensure that the US region maintains competitive compensation and benefits programs
    • Initiate programs and initiatives in the company to ensure employee development, engagement, retention, and succession.
    • Help manage the company's employee relations programs
    • Maintain human capital metrics to provide "early warning" of potential HR issues and measurement of improvement programs
    • Assure 100% compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
